Important Note about obtaining a Work Permit for WorkReady Philadelphia Summer Jobs!
WorkReady Philadelphia accepts both yellow and blue work permits.
Yellow work permits do not need to be renewed if they were issued by WorkReady Philadelphia or the Philadelphia Youth Network (PYN) within the last year. If you have a yellow work permit and it was issued by an agency other than WorkReady Philadelphia or PYN, then it must be renewed. Blue work permits do not need to be renewed.

You must apply online for WorkReady Summer programs. You will receive the Application for Employment Certificate or Transferable Work Permit in the confirmation e-mail that will be sent to you after you complete the online application. If you misplace the form, you can get another copy by contacting the WorkReady Hotline at 267-502-3742. You must print out the form and complete sections A and B of the form. Section D must be completed by your doctor, so it is important that you schedule a doctor's appointment as soon as possible.
